Karen, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Karen graduated from Baker College in June of 2013 with an associates of applied science degree.  "I have wanted to work with animals since I can remember. Growing up I spent as much time with any animal I could, and tried to incorporate it into my jobs as well. I have been a dog walker, moving up to dog, cat, and small animal sitter. I then worked at a pet store as a pet care specialist and then moved up to dog trainer. Although I did like doing all those things I finally got the best job helping pets from big to small at North River Animal Hospital! I enjoy spending time with those I love and my three black cats Cola, Kingsley, and Bagherra."

Leta, Licensed Veterinary Technician

I joined North River Animal Hospital in July of 2014.  Coming from a rural practice in a farming area, I am enjoying the progressive care and treatment options offered at North River Animal Hospital. During my time off, I enjoy longarm quilting, reading, gardening, and cooking.  My husband and I have one cat named "Hitch". He hitch-hiked under the frame of a gentleman's pick-up truck from Lapeer to Imlay City. Of course, we had to take the 1 1/2 pound kitten in.
